1963 Shasta Compact

So we just bought our Shasta yesterday. It is in very good structural shape & it still has its wings. It just needs some TLC. All the original fixtures are inside as well as the seat covers. Here are some pics of the outside. It has its original paint outside. The back aluminum, as you can see, is torn away from the frame. I think this is pretty typical of these old campers since they ride so low to the ground - I have a 67 Scotty Sportsman that I restored last year....the back of it was the same way.

Shannon,
Great Compact! Wonderful to see even the original fabric on the benches. I've added your blog to my website at ClassicShastas.
Look forward to following along with your restoration.

Wow, you're lucky yours is so complete. Mine is basically a shell, everything is pretty much gone, so we have a LOT to do. Please update your blog, I'm anxious to see how your project is coming along.
